We're looking for a Senior iOS Engineer (SwiftUI) to join our innovative mobile engineering team in Irvine, CA. In this role, you'll help shape the next generation of the Apartments.com iOS app, designing and building brand-new features that enhance how renters discover, tour, and connect with properties. Your work will directly impact millions of users and play a central role in advancing our mobile platform strategy.

As a senior member of the team, you'll lead the development of modern, scalable iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, and the latest Apple frameworks. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to create beautiful, performant, and intuitive experiences that bring our vision of seamless real estate discovery to life.

This position is located in Irvine, CA and offers a schedule of 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.

Responsibilities
  • You will develop iOS applications that scale to reach millions of users
  • You will continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be used to strengthen CoStar's technology platform and development practices
  • Work with the team to create user interface layouts for customers and interfaces to backend web services
  • Design and develop systems and libraries that are highly reusable and maintainable
  • Understand CoStar's product architecture and frameworks and come to the table with your ideas
  • Collaborate with different teams along with other iOS developers to exchange new ideas and improvements

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college/university
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers
  • 5+ years' experience in developing iOS applications
  • You are an expert in everything iOS - Objective C, SwiftUI/Swift, Cocoa Framework, XCode IDE, Interface Builder and are always interested in learning more and sharing your skills
  • You know all the common Object Oriented Programming and design patterns, MVC, MVVM, Dependency Injection and more.

  • You love mobile applications and know how to make them engaging
  • You understand how to turn ideas and code into the perfect customer experience

This position offers a base salary range of $130,000-$204,000, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
