The Ideal Candidate Profile

This is a hybrid profile. A generic Product Manager will fail here because they won't understand the technical video nuances.

Feature	What to look for
The Background	Post-Production / Video Engineering background is a must. They need to speak the language of editors and video engineers.
The Hard Skill	Excellent User Story writing. Ask for examples of how they document requirements for engineers. They need to be detail-oriented.
The "Secret Sauce"	Experience with Frame.io, adaptive playback, or cloud media supply chains.
The Soft Skills	"Clear Communication" is repeated multiple times. They need to be a native-level English speaker to avoid the "lost in translation" issues the team is currently facing.
The Culture	"Sports fan will be nice" (It is Fox, after all).
Logistics	Must work PST hours (Remote is fine, but needs to overlap with hm).

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of pre-production and post-production systems. This role is critical in shaping tools and workflows that enable seamless content creation, asset management, and delivery across the production lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams-including engineering, operations, and creative stakeholders-to define product vision, prioritize features, and ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and own the product vision for pre/post-production systems, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain a clear roadmap based on user needs, market trends, and operational requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams (engineering, creative, operations) to gather requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions and updates.
Execution & Delivery
- Drive end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure timely delivery of features while maintaining high quality and scalability.
User Experience & Optimization
- Advocate for intuitive workflows and user-friendly interfaces that enhance efficiency for production teams.
- Monitor system performance and implement continuous improvements based on feedback and analytics.
Market & Technology Awareness
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and trends in media production, asset management, and workflow automation.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and competitive differentiation.

Qualifications

Experience:
- 5+ years in product management, preferably in media, entertainment, or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of managing complex systems and workflows in pre/post-production environments.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of production pipelines, asset management systems, and integration with creative tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Media Technology, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
