Job Details

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
7+ years of structural engineering experience in building design, analysis, and construction documentation.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
Experience designing structural systems utilizing steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
Proficiency with structural analysis and design software commonly used within the industry.
Familiarity with applicable building codes, design standards, and industry best practices.
Experience producing construction documents, calculations, reports, and technical specifications.
Ability to perform site visits, field observations, and construction support activities when required.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects.
Develop engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
Coordinate structural designs with internal and external project stakeholders.
Review drawings and submittals during construction.
Participate in site observations and assist with construction-related engineering support.
Support project managers with scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
Contribute to innovative and cost-effective structural solutions that align with project goals.
