Summary
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases for POS systems
- Test transaction processing, payment gateways, and POS hardware (scanners, printers, card readers)
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams
- Set up and maintain test environments simulating real-world POS scenarios
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist with end-user training
- Collaborate in onshore/offshore models and help train offshore teams
- Prepare clear test reports and documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Has 5+ years of software testing experience, including POS systems
- Is bilingual in Spanish and English
- Has experience with manual and automation testing
- Understands POS transactions, payment processing, and hardware devices
- Can perform functional, regression, and integration testing
- Is able to identify defects and collaborate with development teams
- Can support UAT and work in onshore/offshore models
