Job Title: Sr. UI/UX Developer / Architect / Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. UI/UX Developer / Architect / Design Engineer with strong experience in Enterprise Design Systems, Accessibility, WCAG, Angular, and Storybook.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of professional Front-End/UI development experience

• 15+ years overall experience preferred

• Proven experience building and implementing an Enterprise Design System from scratch

• Strong experience with Design Systems and reusable component libraries

• Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.1 / AAA and Section 508

• Strong understanding of ARIA, Semantic HTML, and accessibility testing

• Hands-on experience with Angular, HTML, SASS/SCSS

• Strong Storybook experience for component development and documentation

• Experience with USWDS or similar enterprise design systems

• Strong UI/UX and accessible design principles

• Excellent technical communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Build, document, and maintain scalable enterprise design systems

• Develop reusable, accessible Angular components and wrapper components

• Ensure UI components comply with WCAG 2.1/AAA and Section 508

• Use Storybook for component development, documentation, and collaboration

• Perform accessibility audits, code reviews, and UX reviews

• Collaborate with development and UX teams to establish accessibility best practices

• Support enterprise/state-level applications and accessibility initiatives

• Mentor development teams on design systems and accessibility standards

• SQL

• Backend integration experience
