About the Role
We''re hiring a Senior Hospital Systems Administrator to support and enhance healthcare imaging technologies, including PACS, RIS, and related clinical systems. You''ll sit at the intersection of infrastructure, clinical operations, and vendor management — keeping the systems radiologists and clinicians rely on running reliably around the clock.
What You''ll Do
- Coordinate infrastructure installation, upgrade, and support activities between the EHR vendor, infrastructure staff, and systems analysts.
- Serve as the liaison between the hospital infrastructure team, Clinical/Business IT teams, and vendor support on EHR patches, updates, and environment changes.
- Monitor clinical system backups and keep EHR and infrastructure monitoring technologies healthy and improving.
- Own day-to-day systems administration: patching, performance monitoring, and backup/archival execution per guidelines.
- Support applications hospital-wide through product evaluation, resource planning, installation, and ongoing support.
What You Bring
- 5 years of systems administration experience.
- Degree in Computer Science or certification from an accredited computer/IT program.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Servers, network appliances, and the Microsoft stack.
- Proven experience with PACS, cardiology, and imaging workflows.
- Healthcare IT background supporting clinical applications.
- Comfort troubleshooting complex application and infrastructure issues.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare security/compliance standards.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.
Why Join Us
We offer competitive base pay determined by experience, internal equity, and market data, plus potential clinical certification pay and shift differentials. Benefits include:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Generous 401(k) match
- Paid life insurance and voluntary benefits
- Wellness programs, savings accounts, and employee discounts
- Adoption assistance and back-up daycare
- Free onsite parking
- Recognition rewards
