Network Engineer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team in Sacaton, Arizona. This role requires expertise in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure the seamless operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco networking, firewalls, and routing protocols.

Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers to optimize network performance.
Manage and secure network systems using Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ASA.
Implement and monitor Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to ensure efficient data routing.
Analyze and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
Collaborate with team members to design and deploy scalable network solutions.
Conduct regular network assessments to identify vulnerabilities and optimize security measures.
Document network configurations and processes for streamlined operations.
Provide technical support and guidance to resolve complex networking challenges.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve network infrastructure.

Requirements

Proven experience with Cisco routers and networking systems.
Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco ASA.
Strong understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its implementation.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
Familiarity with network security protocols and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for collaboration and support.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
