Hybrid/Local AWS/Azure Security Engineer/Architect with DevOps, IAM/RBAC/AD, governance, Terraform/IaC, migrations, Kubernetes, Docker, penetration testing, threat detection, wServiceNow/Datadog/Dome9/Aviatrix and Public Cloud experience
Location: Columbia, SC (ADMIN)
Duration: 12 Months
First week on site to get acclimated to team. After that, consultant should plan 3 days per month onsite. Remainer of time is remote. Onsite cadence will be scheduled with the manager after start. Vendor partner needs to be aware they will be an onsite element and plan accordingly. Work Location: Hybrid (3 days per month onsite) Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident. No relocation allowed.

10 years infrastructure, systems engineering, DevOps, or architecture
8+ years technical architecture
5-7 years AWS (IAM, Organizations, Networking Architectures, Cost Mgmt controls, etc.)
3-5 years Azure (RBAC, Azure AD, Networking Architectures, Cost Mgmt controls, etc.)
3-7 years enterprise cloud architecture or governance
3-5 years Terraform and infrastructure as a code
3-5 years cloud migrations and platform operations
3+ years technical leadership and knowledge transfer
Public Cloud infrastructure expertise Preferred Skills
Expertise in Terraform infrastructure as code, understanding of scaling technologies and solutions, experience with AWS or other clouds, familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other container platforms, security, penetration testing and threat detection tools, and experience wServiceNow, Datadog, Dome9, and/or Aviatrix.
Background in DevOps, Software Development, Site Reliability, or Systems Engineering.
Experience with configuration management and continuous deployment.
Required Education:
Bachelor s degree in computer science or information systems and 8+ years of technical architecture experience and relevant hands-on engineering. Required / Preferred Certifications:
AWS and\or Azure certifications preferred
Daily Duties / Responsibilities:
Perform system administration, automation, and development tasks for the Cloud Management Platform (CMP).
Work with DTO and customer personnel to facilitate migrations to the DTO cloud infrastructure.
Maintain continuity of shared services offered across AWS and Azure.
