Snowflakes Architect

A Snowflake Architect designs scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions on the Snowflake platform. They work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to ensure efficient data storage, processing, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data architecture on Snowflake
• Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and pipelines
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Apache Airflow or Informatica
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance
• Optimize query performance and cost management
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Guide teams on best practices and architectural standards
• Troubleshoot data issues and improve system reliability

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture & features (virtual warehouses, micro-partitions, etc.)
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Experience with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools and data pipeline design
• Understanding of data security & governance
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell)
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 8–10+ years in data engineering/architecture roles
• Snowflake certifications (e.g., SnowPro) are a plus
