AEM architecture
- 5+ years architecting AEM solutions, including recent AEM as a Cloud Service experience. Deep knowledge of AEM Sites, Assets/DAM, Core Components, editable templates, workflows, Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL, Java, and REST APIs.
Enterprise migrations
- Led at least one complex migration from Sitecore, legacy CMS, agency-managed platforms, or multiple CMSs into AEM. Must have owned architecture, not only development.
Multi-site and multi-brand
- Designed shared component and template strategies with governed brand, region, locale, or property variation. Experience with MSM, localization, translation, and rollout governance is strongly preferred.
Architecture quality
- Demonstrated ability to reduce custom code, use upgrade-safe patterns, enforce code quality, define non-functional requirements, and make build-versus-reuse decisions.
Cloud delivery
- AEM Cloud Manager, CI/CD, Git, Maven, automated testing, dispatcher/CDN and caching, environment strategy, observability, security, and production support.
