Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle VCP (Value Chain Planning) Functional Consultant to support planning, supply chain, and business process requirements. The consultant will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to design, configure, implement, and support Oracle VCP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements related to Supply Chain Planning and Oracle VCP.

• Configure and support Oracle VCP planning modules based on business requirements.

• Work with business users to understand planning processes, requirements, and gaps.

• Support Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, and S&OP processes.

• Configure planning parameters, sourcing rules, calendars, organizations, items, and planning policies.

• Work on forecasting, demand management, supply planning, and replenishment processes.

• Analyze planning exceptions and recommend appropriate business solutions.

• Support integration and data flows between Oracle VCP and ERP systems.

• Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams for enhancements and integrations.

• Perform functional testing, SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.

• Provide production support and troubleshoot functional issues.

• Conduct user training and prepare functional documentation.

• Work with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, and Finance.

Required Skills

• Strong functional experience with Oracle VCP / Oracle Value Chain Planning.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle Supply Chain Planning.

• Experience with Demand Planning and Supply Planning.

• Knowledge of Inventory Planning / Replenishment Planning.

• Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and business processes.

• Experience with Oracle ERP integration and planning data flows.

• Experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM.

• Knowledge of Oracle ASCP, Demand Planning, Global Order Promising (GOP), or S&OP.

• Experience with planning interfaces, collections, and master data.

• Knowledge of SQL for functional analysis and troubleshooting.

• Experience working in large enterprise supply-chain environments.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

• 7+ years of overall Oracle/Supply Chain experience, with strong hands-on Oracle VCP functional experience.

• Experience working with global business stakeholders is preferred.
