Location: Columbus, OH (Dublin, Hilliard, or New Albany) MUST BE OPEN TO EITHER LOCATION
Pay: $22-26/hour
Schedule: Full-time, early start (6:00 AM)
Start Date: Rolling
Type: Contract-to-Hire (Long-Term Opportunity)

Job Overview

We are seeking entry-level Cable Technicians/Installers to join a growing team supporting large-scale data center projects. This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals with construction or warehouse experience who are looking to build a career in the telecommunications and data infrastructure industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull, route, dress, and label Cat5e/Cat6 cabling
• Assist with RJ45 terminations and patch panel installations
• Perform basic punch-downs for telecom blocks
• Support cable labeling and identification processes
• Assist with cable testing using tools such as Fluke and EXFO
• Learn and support fiber optic cable handling and installation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow directions from Lead technicians and supervisors

Required Qualifications

• Experience in construction, warehouse, or general labor environments
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
• Ability to perform physical work (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces)
• Willingness to work on-site at multiple locations (Dublin, Hilliard, New Albany)
• Interest in learning low-voltage and cabling systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with structured cabling or cable installation
• Basic knowledge of termination or punch-down techniques
• Exposure to telecommunications or fiber optics

Important Notes

• Candidates must not have previous AWS employment (including warehouse or delivery roles)
• This role requires a commitment to the early morning schedule

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
