Job summary:
A Salesforce Business Analyst/Consultant bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, analyzing client needs to design, configure, and implement tailored Salesforce solutions.
They optimize business processes (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ) to maximize ROI, drive user adoption through training, and manage full-lifecycle implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Meet with clients to analyze business needs, identify pain points, and define project scope.
- Solution Design & Configuration: Design, customize, and configure Salesforce workflows, data models, reports, dashboards, and user permissions.
- Implementation & Deployment: Lead the full-cycle implementation, including data migration from legacy systems.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve business processes to increase efficiency and align with company goals.
- Stakeholder Management & Training: Act as the liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, conducting training sessions for end-users.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide expert recommendations on Salesforce best practices and app ecosystem capabilities. Required Skills and Qualifications
- Salesforce Expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce functionality (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.) and configuration capabilities.
- Business Analysis: Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical documentation and user stories.
- Certifications: Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Certified Administrator, Sales/Service Cloud Consultant) are generally required.
- Communication Skills: Strong presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data management, validation rules, for technical-functional roles. Common Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting or business analysis roles.
- Experience in full-cycle CRM implementation projects.
- Domain expertise in specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, finance) or business functions (e.g., Order-to-Cash).
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
The salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all U.S. locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Final compensation decisions will depend on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate.
