Responsibilities:
Responsible for the proper operation of a large group of Network Elements.
Duties in support of interdepartmental objectives, to support the activation of new sites and integration of network hardware and interconnect facilities.
Other responsibilities include testing and analyzing network coverage to ensure contiguous communication and network integrity and quality; updating daily logs with site-specific information; composing clear and concise reports for system documentation; and performing activation tasks as required by Local, Regional, Area, Corporate or Regulatory agencies.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Ericsson Integration: Hands-on working experience.
- Nokia Router: Hands-on working experience.
- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting skills.
- Transport: Strong Layer 1 and Layer 2 transport skills.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Project management skills.
- Westell alarming experience.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- A 2-year technical college degree or 4+ years of wireless field engineer work experience.
Additional Requirement:
The candidate must be located in or near the Lexington, KY area.
