About the job
We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Consultant with strong expertise in X++, integrations, and data migration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions while collaborating with functional teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Development
- Develop and customize solutions in Dynamics 365 F&O using X++
- Create and extend standard functionalities including forms, tables, classes, and workflows
- Develop SSRS reports, dashboards, and queries
- Work on extensions rather than over-layering following best practices
Integration & Services
- Design and implement integrations using:
- OData services
- Custom APIs
- Azure Logic Apps / Data Factory
- Integrate D365 F&O with third-party systems
Data Migration & Management
- Perform data migration using:
- Data Management Framework (DMF)
- LCS tools
- Data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation
System Optimization & Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Perform performance tuning and optimization
- Provide production support and enhancements
Collaboration
- Work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O
- Strong expertise in X++ development
- Experience with:
- Visual Studio & Azure DevOps
- SSRS reporting
- Data entities & DMF
- Knowledge of integrations (REST/SOAP, OData)
- Understanding of LCS (Lifecycle Services)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions)
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps)
- Prior experience in D365 F&O implementation projects
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
