Role Summary

Senior / Lead Java Backend Developer with Generative AI (GenAI) experience needed for a client-facing enterprise project. Strong hands-on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and LLM integration experience required. Must be comfortable working directly with client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of Java backend microservices
• Build and maintain Spring Boot based REST APIs
• Integrate GenAI / LLM APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
• Implement RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and AI workflows
• Participate in client discussions, architecture reviews, and design sessions
• Perform code reviews and mentor team members
• Support CI/CD pipelines and production releases

Required Skills

• 8 12+ years of Java backend development
• Strong experience with Java 11/17, Spring Boot, Spring Security
• Expertise in microservices architecture
• Hands-on GenAI / LLM integration experience
• Experience with RESTful API design
• Strong knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases
• Cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills

• Kafka / event-driven architecture
• Docker & Kubernetes
• GitHub Copilot / AI coding tools
