Role: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect

Job Responsibilities:
Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.
Understand and document technical requirements from clients.
Define Migration strategy to move applications to the IaaS/PaaS.
Develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and tools.
Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
Design the Cloud network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets.
Design the HA / DR strategies
Set up process, services and tools around cloud.
Oversee build of the environment.
Execute migration plan.
Leverage appropriate Oracle Cloud services.
Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls.
Have good knowledge on OCI Security Components like OCI WAF, Network Firewall, Vault etc.
Support go-to-market activities as a sales Cloud Architect
Required Qualifications:
10+ years experience in supporting highly customer-focused mission critical environments (e.g. high-profile internet based applications or enterprise infrastructure) is essential.
5+ years of experience engineering, architecting, or supporting Oracle IaaS/PaaS solutions.
Experience on AWS to OCI migration
Knowledgeable in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure service components
Experience of implementing and supporting OCI based instances and services (e.g. Compute, Network, Ravello, Dockers, DBCS, ExaCS, ADW, ATP etc).
Experience of building and maintaining scalable and auto-scaled environments using automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef)
Ability to work on multiple challenging projects in parallel
Experience of Continuous Integration and technology advantageous
Hold current Oracle Cloud Architect Professional Level Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ Years of Oracle Technology project implementation and/or production support experience
5+ years of Cloud Infrastructure implementation and/or support experience (OCI preferably)
System Integrator Consulting Experience
