Sr Solution Architect - Finance Data Integration Platform (Databricks, ETL, Azure)

Note: This is a HYBRID position requiring 2 in-office days at local Deloitte office per week. Travel costs are not reimbursable. Candidates with sub vendors cannot be considered.

Our client is currently undergoing a multiyear transformation of its digital footprint in the corporate systems Finance domain. This transformation is inclusive of operational systems and a modern data integration platform. We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect who will lead the strategy and architectural design for a modern Finance data integration platform and partner with development teams on the solution implementation enabling data consistency, data availability, enhanced data governance, improved operational efficiency, faster/better decision, etc.

Responsibilities - What you will be doing?

As the Finance Integration Platform Solution Architect, you will:
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to understand requirements
Design and implement a modern Finance data integration platform
Collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams ensuring the design and architecture adheres to Edward Jones technologies, standards and policies
Partner with supporting product teams to deliver on the solution (e.g., data services, security, network, etc.)
Partner with the Cloud Platform product team to enable Azure cloud services needed to support the data integration platform
Own and maintain related architectural artifacts to document solutions and decisions (e.g., Solution Architecture Documentation, Architecture Decision Records, Patterns, Standards, etc.)
Lead Architecture Review Committee and Technology Architecture Board reviews for non-standard technologies or software
Provide guidance and direction to Finance development teams on adoption of the new data integration platform
Collaborate on defining the support model for the data integration platform
