Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst with 1–2 years of experience to support business and technology initiatives. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, document functional requirements, and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

• Work with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements.

• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.

• Perform requirement validation, gap analysis, and impact analysis.

• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, project managers, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.

• Perform basic data analysis using SQL and Microsoft Excel.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test-case preparation, defect tracking, and issue resolution.

• Prepare business reports, dashboards, and project documentation.

• Track requirements, action items, project updates, and deliverables.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.

• Communicate requirements, findings, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Junior Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or related role.

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience with requirements gathering and business documentation.

• Working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with both technical and business teams.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Jira / Confluence

• Microsoft Visio or similar process-mapping tools

• Power BI / Tableau

• UAT and test management

• Data analysis and reporting

• Basic understanding of APIs and technical systems

• Experience working in an Agile development environment

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
