Associate Engineer

ApTask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking an Associate Engineer with a technology company. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with our client located in Thousand Oaks, CA or Cambridge, MA. This is a remote position.

Summary:

This role focuses on enhancing digital systems and automated data tools to streamline data management and monitoring for drug products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for data extraction, verification, analysis, and supporting investigations related to process data within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Note:

• Dayshift 8AM - 5PM
• Remote but preferably someone who is located near Thousand Oaks or Cambridge sites for occasional onsite and the shift can go under responsibilities if needed

Responsibilities:

• Implementation and enhancement of digital systems and automated analysis/visualization tools (Spotfire) for data management and monitoring
• Data extraction, verification, analysis, and creation of technical reports for process monitoring
• Supporting investigations of adverse signals identified through process data monitoring
• Integrating new products and processes into the data monitoring business process and quality management system
• Supporting other ad hoc studies and projects, such as technology transfers of processes to new sites

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Data Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline OR associate's degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of experience
• Manufacturing experience, preferably in the drug product or pharmaceutical field
• Experience with data entry, verification, analysis, and/or data management information systems
• Proficiency with Excel, statistical process control, and data visualization tools like Spotfire or Tableau

Desired skills:

• Some industry experience through an internship or research projects
• Drug product experience in Fill finish or inspection
• Previous experience with the client is highly preferred

Pay range: Up to $37.27 per Hour
