JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Tech Writer for a 5M+ Contract opportunity that is remote-based. The Tech Writer will define and own the end-to-end documentation strategy for new network technologies, including standards, workflows, and governance frameworks.

- Develop High-Quality Content Supporting Operation Activities – Deployments / Upgrades / DR Procedures
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Network Architect / Engineers / Operations Teams / Project Managers to Collect / Validate Technical Information
- Conduct Interviews / Observe System Development and Operational Activities – Ensuring Accuracy / Completeness
- Organize / Maintain Documentation Repositories – SharePoint / Confluence / Internal Knowledge-base Systems with Proper Version Control / Accessibility
- Edit / Proofread Content for Clarity / Consistency / Adherence to Style Guides
- Translate Complex Technical Concepts into Clear / User-Friendly Content for Diverse Audiences
- Create Diagrams / Flowcharts / Visuals – Enhancing Overall Comprehension
- Partner with Engineering / Operations Teams – Reviewing Documentation for Accuracy / Consistency
- Drive Continuous Improvement of Documentation Processes / Tools / Standards
- Innovate to Enhance Customer Operational Experience / Knowledge Management Practices
- Strong Organizational Skills and Ability to Manage Multiple Projects Independently
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Tech Writer (3+ years) – Complex Network Technologies Focus
- Documentation Strategy Ownership – Defining / Owning the End-to-End Documentation Strategy for New / Complex Network Technologies | Defining Standards / Workflows / Governance Frameworks
- Documentation Tools / Platforms (proficiency) – Confluence / SharePoint / Visio / Adobe, etc.
- Program Leadership – Proven Track Record of Leading Documentation Initiatives From Inception to Deployment | Stakeholder Alignment / Risk Assessment / Iterative Improvements in Knowledge Management Systems
- Network Technologies / Architectures (strong understanding) – SDN / 5G / 6G / Cloud Networking / IoT Integrations / Edge Computing
- Standards / Compliance Frameworks (knowledge) – ISO 9001 / ITIL / NIST / IEEE 802 | Incorporating into Documentation Governance
- Workflow Design / Process Optimization (expertise) - Mapping Workflows (BPMN / Integration) with Systems (JIRA / ServiceNow)
- Establishing Documentation Governance (proficiency) – Access Controls / Audit Trails / Approval Processes | Utilizing Version Control Systems (GIT / Docs-as-Code)
