Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of HVAC projects from conception to completion, including design, planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
2. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
3. Review work progress on a daily basis and make necessary adjustments to ensure project remains on schedule and within budget.
4. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
5. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
6. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
7. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
8. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.
9. Effectively manage risks, including identification, analysis, and communication of risks associated with each project.
10. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety codes.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of mechanical/HVAC construction.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management (or similar role), specifically in commercial HVAC projects.
3. Proven track record of managing HVAC projects from start to finish.
4. Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
5. Knowledge of commercial ductwork installation.
6. Familiarity with construction and project management software programs.
7. Previous experience collaborating with job site leadership to meet goals/deadlines.
8. Competent in conflict and crisis management.
9. Excellent time and project management skills.
10. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
11. Knowledge of building codes, standards of practice, and safety regulations.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
13. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
14. Strong problem-solving abilities.
15. Must have a valid driver's license.
