NTT DATA's Client is currently seeking an Azure AI Platform Engineer to join their team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

Job Description:
Day to Day job Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native platform solutions across Azure, AWS, and Kubernetes environments supporting enterprise applications and AI workloads.
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Helm, and automation frameworks to provision and maintain cloud infrastructure.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and related DevOps tooling to support continuous delivery and operational excellence.
Architect, deploy, and support Kubernetes-based platforms including AKS, EKS, OpenShift, and containerized application ecosystems.
Partner with application development teams to implement secure, reliable, and highly available cloud services, microservices, and platform components.
Design and implement observability solutions using monitoring, logging, and tracing technologies to improve platform reliability and operational efficiency.
Support AI and data platform initiatives by implementing infrastructure for Azure OpenAI, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and modern cloud-native data services.
Collaborate with architecture, security, operations, and engineering teams to define cloud platform standards, governance, and best practices.
Participate in technical design reviews, troubleshooting activities, root cause analysis, and production support efforts.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to agile delivery processes, technical documentation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)
Minimum 5+ years of experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and container platforms including AKS, EKS, OpenShift, and Docker.
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Helm.
Minimum 5+ years of experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
Minimum 5+ years of experience developing software applications using Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Minimum 5+ years of experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and REST APIs.
Minimum 5+ years of experience supporting cloud security, identity management, and access control frameworks.
Minimum 5+ years of experience working with cloud storage, messaging, and database technologies including SQL and NoSQL platforms.
Minimum 5+ years of experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
Minimum 5+ years of experience working within Agile, Scrum, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) environments.
Minimum 5+ years of experience collaborating directly with business stakeholders, architects, developers, and operations teams to deliver enterprise cloud solutions.
Travel: This position requires someone be in a client office 3 days a week in Charlotte, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Dallas, Chicago or Cincinnati.
Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
