OverviewWe are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide Tier 1/2 technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and operating system issues in both remote and on-site environments. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, customer interaction skills, and the ability to collaborate within a team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Tier 1/2 support for desktop hardware, application software, and operating system issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems via phone, remote tools, and in-person desk-side support
- Diagnose issues efficiently, determine root cause, and implement effective solutions
- Support end users with timely issue resolution while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Escalate complex issues to senior support teams when necessary
- Collaborate with IT team members to ensure consistent and efficient support delivery
Required Skills & Qualifications- Foundational experience in desktop support or helpdesk support (Tier 1/2)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues independently
- Ability to communicate clearly with users while diagnosing and resolving technical problems
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications- CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical knowledge
- Experience providing support in both remote and on-site environments
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of King of Prussia, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.50 - $28.00/hr.
