Job Description:

The AI Agent Security & Cryptography Architect is responsible for defining and governing secure architectures for agentic AI, LLM‑based systems, and autonomous workflows, with a strong focus on cryptographic controls, trust, identity, and data protection across the AI lifecycle. This role ensures AI agents are deployed in a secure, compliant, and resilient manner across cloud and enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

AI Agent & LLM Security Architecture

• Define reference architectures, security patterns, and guardrails for agentic AI, LLM pipelines, and AI‑enabled platforms.
• Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for AI agents, including agent‑to‑agent and agent‑to‑tool interactions.
• Address emerging AI risks such as prompt injection, model poisoning, tool misuse, and autonomous behavior drift.

Cryptography & Trust

• Design and govern cryptographic architectures for AI systems, including:
  • Data encryption at rest and in transit
  • Key management, HSM/KMS integration, and secrets management
  • Secure tokenization, anonymization, and privacy‑preserving techniques
• Ensure cryptographic controls protect training data, embeddings, prompts, model artifacts, and inference outputs.

Secure AI Lifecycle & MLSecOps

• Embed security into the end‑to‑end AI lifecycle: data sourcing, training, fine‑tuning, deployment, inference, and monitoring.
• Partner with MLOps and engineering teams to implement shift‑left security controls and automated validation.
• Define runtime security, monitoring, and incident response strategies for AI agents.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Align AI security architectures with enterprise security policies and external frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, OWASP LLM Top 10, MITRE ATLAS).
• Support regulatory and audit requirements for privacy, data protection, and model governance.
• Act as a security advisor to leadership on AI risk posture and control effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in security architecture, cryptography, or cloud security, with recent focus on AI/ML or Generative AI systems.
• Strong hands‑on experience with:
  • Cryptographic protocols, key management, and secrets management
  • Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and secure AI deployments
  • Identity, access management, and zero‑trust architectures
• Proven experience conducting architecture reviews and threat modeling for complex systems.
