Location: Arden Hills, MN (Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
Pay Rate: Up to $37.00/hour
Are you an early-career engineer with a strong
electrical engineering or biomedical engineering background looking to grow your experience in
quality engineering, product investigations, and medical device performance analysis? We are seeking a
Quality Engineer to support product complaint investigations, post-market surveillance activities, and risk management initiatives in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate product complaints and analyze returned products to determine root causes and performance trends.
- Review electronic circuits, components, and completed product analyses to ensure accurate complaint documentation.
- Analyze post-market data, customer feedback, and historical performance information to identify trends and potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support risk assessments, quality system activities, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Create technical reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Assist laboratory teams during product investigations and ensure compliant analysis processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
- 1-3 years of engineering experience.
- Strong electrical engineering foundation with experience reviewing or investigating electronic circuits and components.
- Knowledge of data analysis, statistics, technical problem-solving, and quality systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical device industry experience.
- Experience with complaint investigations, CAPA, risk management, and post-market surveillance.
- Strong technical writing and project coordination skills.
