Job Title: AWS Terraform Cloud Engineer

Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Pay Range: $60hr - $65hr

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure as Code IaC Implementation Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design develop and maintain infrastructure using.
AWS and Terraform Convert infrastructure requirements into Terraform configuration code and version control it appropriately.
Cloud Infrastructure Management Work closely with DevOps and Cloud Engineers to manage and optimize cloud resources on platform AWS using Terraform modules and best practices.
Automation and Scripting Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance the efficiency of infrastructure management configuration and maintenance.
Security and Compliance Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with relevant standards policies and regulations while maintaining Terraform infrastructure.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution Identify and address issues related to Terraform AWS infrastructure collaborating with the team to implement effective solutions.
Documentation Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations processes and changes.
Performance Optimization Continuously monitor and analyse the performance of Terraformmanaged infrastructure optimizing resource utilization and costeffectiveness.

Requirements:

Proven Experience Minimum of 2 years of handson experience working with AWS and Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure.
Terraform Proficiency Strong proficiency in writing and managing Terraform code to deploy AWS resources including knowledge of Terraform modules variables and state management.
AWS Expertise Indepth knowledge of AWS services architecture and best practices for various use cases including EC2 VPC S3 IAM RDS Lambda Cloudwatch State machines Sagemaker.
Scripting and Automation Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash Python or PowerShell.
CICD Integration Familiarity with CICD pipelines and experience integrating Terraform with popular CICD tools eg Jenkins GitLab.
Security and Compliance Understanding of AWS security measures and compliance frameworks eg AWS Identity and Access Management Security Groups AWS Config etc.
ProblemSolving Skills Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Collaboration Excellent teamwork and communication skills capable of working in a collaborative environment.
AWSTerraform Certifications optional AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate are a plus.
