Position: SOC Analyst / SOC Incident Response Analyst

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months

We are looking for an analyst with incident response experience and working knowledge of threat hunting. The individual does not need to be a dedicated Threat Hunter but should be capable of performing threat hunts with guidance and following established methodologies.

A candidate with strong Tier 2 SOC experience would be a good fit. The ideal candidate should have 1-2+ years of hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon/LogScale and Microsoft Defender, including investigation and response activities.

The candidate should have experience handling security incidents through the full incident response lifecycle, including triage, investigation, containment, eradication, recovery, and documentation. Experience responding to high-severity incidents, including ransomware investigations, is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

•          Incident investigation and response

•          Threat hunting activities

•          Detection validation and analysis

•          Endpoint investigations using CrowdStrike and Defender

•          Security monitoring and alert triage

•          Documentation of incidents and response actions

•          A background in incident response, threat hunting, SOC operations, and endpoint security is strongly preferred.
