Job Description

This position is with the Core Processing Software (CPSW) team in Fort Worth, TX. This position requires a software engineer to use a wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the software field to develop, integrate, and test software products for the F-35 program.
The candidate will be expected to be a technical lead for a CPSW middleware software test team. Software development and testing experience including requirements analysis, high-level and detailed design, coding, test planning, unit-testing, and CSCI integration testing is desired.
The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective pro-active communication skills as the position will require frequent inter-organizational and outside customer interactions. Experience with C/C++ coding languages, object oriented architectures, and object oriented design is required. Test case development with Python and other scripting languages is required. Experience with XML based open standards, Common Software Baseline processes, and Agile processes and tools is high desired.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college in a software related major, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Advanced experience with the C and C++ programming languages
- Advanced experience with the Python scripting language
- Experience with large real time software development
- Experience performing qualification testing.
- Ability to obtain DoD secret clearance

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
