Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Python, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Build reusable, maintainable, and high-performance code.
Work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Integrate applications with third-party systems and APIs.
Develop and maintain microservices and distributed applications.
Write unit tests and perform debugging and troubleshooting.
Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Deploy and support applications in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform environments.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and follow SDLC practices.
Identify performance issues and implement appropriate solutions.
Maintain technical documentation and coding standards.

Required Skills

8–10+ years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Python.
Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Strong knowledge of REST APIs and microservices.
Good experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Good debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.
Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms.
Experience with Redis or caching technologies.
Knowledge of Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
Experience with PyTest and automated testing.
Experience with AI/ML, GenAI, or RAG applications is a plus.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
