Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Tester to validate web assets for Section 508 compliance and enhance our automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, document, and execute test plans, while ensuring high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and experience with both manual and automated testing tools are essential.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Validating various web assets for their alignment with industry 508 standards.
  • Providing feedback to development teams on inefficiencies within the current implementation and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Leveraging various automation products to scale 508 automation capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Participating within our Usability center of excellence
  • Providing strategic direction and guidance into our enterprise approach to Section 508.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's and Collage Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Education, Computer Science, English, Communication, Business, Writing, Web Design.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar content management role.
  • Familiarity with QA process including developing test plans, testing tools, functional & regression testing and facilitating UAT in Web
  • Section 508 testing experience is a must (e.g., AXE, Deque, siteimprove, etc.)
  • Ability to develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts
  • Ability to perform manual and automated tests (e.g., selenium, behat, cypress, etc.)
  • Ability to execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
  • Ability to hold and facilitate test plans and case reviews with cross-functional team members
  • Ability to support all aspects of user acceptance testing by the primary customer and/or users
  • Ability to develop test automation suites to develop regression test scripts as needed
  • Ability to create clear and detail-oriented test plans
  • Strong Communications skills, eye for quality
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and detailed orientation.
