QA Tester for a Full-Time

Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented QA Tester to validate web assets for Section 508 compliance and enhance our automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, document, and execute test plans, while ensuring high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and experience with both manual and automated testing tools are essential.
Duties/Responsibilities:- Validating various web assets for their alignment with industry 508 standards.
- Providing feedback to development teams on inefficiencies within the current implementation and opportunities for enhancement.
- Leveraging various automation products to scale 508 automation capabilities across the enterprise.
- Participating within our Usability center of excellence
- Providing strategic direction and guidance into our enterprise approach to Section 508.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's and Collage Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Education, Computer Science, English, Communication, Business, Writing, Web Design.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar content management role.
- Familiarity with QA process including developing test plans, testing tools, functional & regression testing and facilitating UAT in Web
- Section 508 testing experience is a must (e.g., AXE, Deque, siteimprove, etc.)
- Ability to develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts
- Ability to perform manual and automated tests (e.g., selenium, behat, cypress, etc.)
- Ability to execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
- Ability to hold and facilitate test plans and case reviews with cross-functional team members
- Ability to support all aspects of user acceptance testing by the primary customer and/or users
- Ability to develop test automation suites to develop regression test scripts as needed
- Ability to create clear and detail-oriented test plans
- Strong Communications skills, eye for quality
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and detailed orientation.
