Role Overview

• Design, implement, and manage secure Azure cloud networking and hybrid connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure environments.

• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of cloud network architecture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Azure Networking Architecture

• Design and manage Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), VNet Peering, Route Tables, and User Defined Routes (UDRs).

• Build scalable and secure cloud network topologies.

2. Hybrid Connectivity

• Implement and manage ExpressRoute and VPN Gateways.

• Configure IPSec and BGP routing for hybrid cloud connectivity.

3. Network Security

• Configure and manage Azure Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF).

• Implement network security controls and policies to protect workloads.

4. DNS & Routing Management

• Manage DNS, DHCP, NAT, and routing protocols.

• Troubleshoot on-premises to Azure connectivity issues.

5. Secure PaaS Connectivity

• Implement Azure Private Link, Private Endpoints, and VNet Integration.

• Ensure secure access to Azure PaaS services.

6. Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor network performance and availability.

• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity and latency issues.

7. Documentation & Collaboration

• Document network architecture and configurations.

• Work with DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams on cloud networking solutions.
