Summary

The Stellantis OBD Homologation engineeris responsible formanaging the certification documentation process, program timing, and investigations related to non-compliance issues. This role involves working closely with engineering teams and suppliers to ensure that OBD systems meet regulatory requirements and are certified on time. Key responsibilities include coordinating with internal and external stakeholders,creating OBDcertificationdocumentation,leading non-compliance investigations, and ensuringaccurateandtimelyreporting to regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive engineering, experience with OBD systems, and excellent project management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with product development teams and suppliers to plan and trackassignedOBD programs, as well asdefinedeliverablesand timing
  • Compile and review OBD documentation applicationsfor certification
  • Complete compliance reviews with product development leads to verify diagnostic strategies, standardized data,andOBD systemmanagement functionsalign with regulation requirements
  • Provide feedback/guidance on how to approach regulation and technical challenges
  • Lead assigned OBD strategy review workgroups
  • Coordinate with product development teams to triageand trackpotential OBD regulatory issues anddefine action plans
