Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Quality Assurance Analysts and Testers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Review system documentation and requirements to identify test objectives and expected outcomes.
- Develop, update, and execute functional, regression, and other software test scenarios.
- Identify, analyze, document, and track defects and failed test results.
- Coordinate with project teams to communicate findings, resolve issues, and support timely delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
|
|
Experience
|
3+ years of experience in end-to-end software testing, including test planning, test execution, defect analysis, documentation, and database validation.
|
|
Technical Skills
|
Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Test Case Development, Defect Management, SQL, Database Validation, Test Documentation, Test Execution, Web Application Testing, Test Automation
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
- Experience testing Health and Human Services (HHS) systems, including Integrated Eligibility (IE) solutions.
- Experience testing public assistance programs such as TANF, Medicaid, SNAP, and Child Care.
- Experience testing batches, interfaces, flat files, SOAP-based interfaces, reports, security roles, and data conversions.
- Experience with test automation and automated testing practices.

Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Work Authorization
|
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile, RUP, Lean, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience using test management and application lifecycle management tools.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
