Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP GTM Lead with strong expertise in Commodity Trading, Contract & Settlement processes, and SAP CPI integrations to support enterprise ERP consolidation and post-merger trading stabilization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will lead GTM functional design, oversee multi-instance consolidation, ensure transaction continuity, and drive CPI-based integrations across trading, logistics, and finance landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

SAP GTM Functional Leadership

Lead implementation and stabilization of SAP Global Trade Management (GTM) processes including commodity contracts, pricing, logistics, settlements, and risk exposure.
Validate open contracts, provisional settlements, and financial postings during ERP consolidation.
Support legal entity carve-ins, post-merger integrations, and system harmonization involving trading operations.
Ensure margin sensitivity and profitability tracking across commodity transactions.

Integration & Technical Coordination

Design and oversee integrations across GTM, SD, MM, FI, CO using SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).
Define interface architecture for trade lifecycle events including contract creation, logistics execution, invoicing, and settlement.
Support data migration and reconciliation during mock conversions and cutover.

Program & Stabilization Support

Actively participate in mock conversions, rehearsal cycles, and live cutover weekends.
Stabilize GTM in multi-instance landscapes and resolve settlement, pricing, and posting discrepancies.
Protect transaction continuity during consolidation and first consolidated financial close.

Stakeholder & Business Collaboration

Partner with Trading, Commercial, Operations, Finance, and IT leadership.
Provide functional guidance during high-pressure stabilization environments.
Communicate risks, margin impacts, and settlement variances to leadership teams.

Required Skills & Experience

10–15 years of SAP experience with strong exposure to SAP S/4HANA and ECC industry solutions.
Deep hands-on expertise in SAP GTM – commodity contracts & settlements.
Experience supporting 2+ legal entity consolidations / ERP carve-ins / trading integrations.
Strong knowledge of contract lifecycle, pricing, hedging exposure, and settlement processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP CPI integration design and monitoring.
Proven experience validating open contracts, provisional settlements, and financial postings.
Strong understanding of integration across GTM, SD, MM, FI, CO.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in commodity trading industries (Energy, Metals, Agriculture, Chemicals).
Exposure to risk management, exposure management, and hedge accounting.
Knowledge of multi-currency trading and margin optimization.
Experience with data migration tools, reconciliation frameworks, and cutover planning.
