IT Asset Management Lead

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT Asset Management (ITAM) including HAM & SAM
• Manage asset lifecycle: procurement, deployment, tracking, transfer, retirement
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and CMDB alignment in ServiceNow
• Ensure software license compliance and audit readiness
• Conduct asset reconciliation, audits, and reporting
• Integrate ITAM processes with ITSM workflows (incident, change, configuration)
• Manage device lifecycle, endpoint management, and compliance posture
• Support reporting, performance metrics, and data quality improvements
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and operations teams
• Operate Software Asset Management to track usage, renewals, true-ups, audit readiness, and compliance reporting
• Integrate ITAM with Incident, Request, Change, Configuration (CMDB), and Security Operations processes to support vulnerability management

Minimum Qualifications(Mandatory)
Education: Bachelor''s degree in IT, Supply Chain, or related field
Experience:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience IT Asset Management / ITAM roles
• At least 5+ years in a lead role managing HAM, SAM, and leased asset programs
• Experience managing enterprise asset lifecycle and CMDB systems
• Experience managing ITAM in ServiceNow (HAM/SAM modules) and integrating ITAM with CMDB and ITSM workflows
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune
• Working knowledge of software license models (Microsoft, Adobe, security tools) and audit/true-up processes.

Certifications:

• ITIL v4 Foundation
• Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) or Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) - IAITAM

Other Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen; eligible for and capable of obtaining Tier 4 (High Risk Public Trust) background investigation (mandatory)
• Experience with ServiceNow ITAM/CMDB modules
• Strong knowledge of software licensing and compliance frameworks

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist — Hardware Asset Management or Software Asset Management, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (Intune).
• Experience with federal asset compliance and audits
• Experience supporting Zero Trust device posture initiatives.
• Familiarity with endpoint management tools and MDM solutions
• Experience in data quality governance and reporting
