Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in modern test automation frameworks, including Playwright and Cypress. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, executing functional and end-to-end testing, and integrating automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of web application testing, API automation, Agile methodologies, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Playwright and Cypress automation frameworks
Hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks
Experience with functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing
Strong knowledge of API testing and automation
Experience with tools like:

REST Assured
Postman
Swagger/OpenAPI

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of QA processes, defect lifecycle, and test methodologies
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Good programming/scripting skills (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright and Cypress
Build scalable and reusable automation frameworks from scratch
Develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications
Perform functional, regression, smoke, API, and end-to-end testing
Create and execute API automation scripts using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools
Integrate automation tests with CI/CD tools to support continuous testing
