Overview:

We are seeking a Senior .Net Developer who will support our NYC client.
This role will install, configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft-stack applications and services across development, QA, and production environments, with a strong focus on Oracle and MS SQL Server integration.

The developer will work independently and collaboratively within an Agile team to support stable application delivery, testing, deployment readiness, and timely production issue resolution.

Duties:
  • Install, configure, and maintain web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and Windows desktop applications.
  • Configure and manage IIS, including application pools, site bindings, and SSL certificate installation and renewal.
  • Use GitBash to clone repositories, manage branches, pull updates, and support version control workflows.
  • Build, troubleshoot, and debug applications across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Perform unit and regression testing to validate application functionality, stability, and quality.
  • Configure connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and related deployment configurations.
  • Develop SQL queries and stored procedures and perform basic maintenance in MS SQL Server environments.
  • Support application interfaces using JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap.
  • Collaborate through Jira for sprint planning, task tracking, Agile workflow management, and peer code reviews.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve production issues while supporting deployment readiness and continuous improvement across environments.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • 6+ years’ experience developing, deploying, and supporting applications using .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.
  • 3+ years’ experience working with Oracle and MS SQL Server database environments, including SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting web applications, APIs, web services, Windows services, and Windows desktop applications.
  • Experience configuring and managing IIS, including application pools, site bindings, and SSL certificates.
  • Experience using GitBash and version control practices, including repository cloning, branch management, and code updates.
  • Experience building, troubleshooting, debugging, and supporting applications across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Experience performing unit testing and regression testing.
  • Experience configuring connection strings, application settings, environment variables, and deployment-related configurations.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap for application interface support.
  • Experience using Jira and working within Agile software development practices.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), with excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.


Desirable Qualifications:
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools.
