SAP VIM & P2P/MM Consultant
Core Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain OpenText VIM for invoice capture, validation, exception handling, and approval workflows
- Design and optimize P2P processes: Requisition → PO → Goods Receipt → Invoice Verification → Payment
- Support SAP MM configuration: Purchasing, Inventory Management, MRP, and vendor master data
- Integrate VIM with SAP ECC/S/4HANA, FI/CO modules, and third-party systems (OCR, Ariba, EDI)
- Develop and test automated approval workflows (BRF+ rules for three-way matching, exception routing)
- Troubleshoot and resolve invoice processing issues: GR/IR clearing, duplicate detection, variance analysis
- Conduct data migration (LSMW, BAPI) and provide post-go-live support and end-user training
- Collaborate with procurement, accounts payable, and finance teams to optimize workflows
Mandatory Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience with OpenText VIM (configuration, workflow design, exception handling)
- Strong background in SAP MM (Materials Management) with focus on Purchasing and P2P processes
- Demonstrated experience integrating VIM with SAP ECC 6.0 or S/4HANA
- Deep understanding of invoice processing: OCR capture, validation rules, approval workflows, exception management
- Proficiency in MM module configuration: Purchasing, Inventory Management, MRP
- Experience with FI/CO integration (General Ledger, Accounts Payable)
- Technical skills: BRF+ rules, LSMW, BAPI, Workflow configuration
- Familiarity with three-way matching (PO-GR-Invoice) and exception handling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
