Job Title: Equipment Assembly & Logistics Technician
Role Overview
We are seeking an Equipment Assembly & Logistics Technician to serve as a key member of our operations team. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of our equipment-from performing hands-on mechanical assembly and maintenance to managing the logistics of incoming and outgoing parts.
This is a versatile role for a candidate who is equally comfortable working with their hands on mechanical hardware and managing the administrative side of a shipping/receiving department. You will be expected to work independently, maintain high attention to detail, and ensure our inventory and shipping workflows remain efficient and accurate. If you are a self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude and a "get-it-done" attitude, this is a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Technical Support
Mechanical Operations: Perform hands-on assembly and maintenance of equipment. Learn the intricate details of our product line to troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble units to standard.
Parts Management: Manage the inspection and cleaning of components. Help maintain an accurate parts inventory, ensuring that essential supplies are organized and available for upcoming assembly tasks.
Quality Assurance: Pay close attention to detail during every step of the assembly and disassembly process, ensuring every unit meets our performance and quality standards.
Logistics & Inventory
Shipping & Receiving: Oversee the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments. Create shipping labels, track packages, and receive parts and units accurately into the system.
Administrative Coordination: Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to maintain records, track inventory levels, and process shipping documentation.
Independent Execution: After an initial training period, you will be expected to manage your daily workflow autonomously, ensuring all routine assignments are completed on schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree is preferred.
Experience Baseline: 3-5 years of relevant experience in a mechanical assembly, equipment maintenance, or technical logistics role.
Physical Capability: Ability to perform physical labor, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) for tracking and documentation.
Mechanical Aptitude: A strong, proven ability to work with mechanical tools and understand the components of technical equipment.
Preferred Attributes
A proactive, "positive-attitude" professional who can work effectively without constant guidance.
Proven ability to manage inventory accuracy and shipping documentation.
Comfort transitioning between desk-based administrative tasks and shop-floor mechanical assembly.
