Systems Administrator Stores Platform Engineering
Location: New Albany, OH - Hybrid (onsite work required at times)
Pay Range: $60-70 an hour W2 - long term contract (conversion to FTE is possible in the future)

I'm searching for an experienced Systems Administrator to support the technology infrastructure used across a large retail store environment. This role will focus on the administration, deployment, and support of store hardware, software, POS systems, mobile devices, and Android-based technology.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience supporting remote users, and hands-on knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Android device administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support store technology, including POS systems, peripherals, hardware, software, and mobile devices
- Manage and troubleshoot Android devices and MDM environments, including device migrations and configurations
- Provide technical support to store associates and remote users
- Assist with software deployments and store technology implementations
- Support payment and traffic-related store systems
- Use scripting, automation, and reporting tools to improve processes and reduce manual effort
- Troubleshoot complex technology issues with internal teams, vendors, and store personnel
- Support technology projects by helping define requirements, assess solutions, and implement new systems
- Maintain strong system reliability and customer satisfaction across the store environment
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, ideally supporting retail or distributed technology environments
- Hands-on Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience
- Strong experience supporting and configuring Android devices
- Experience providing technical support to remote or geographically distributed users
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to manage priorities and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with scripting, automation, software deployment, or reporting tools is highly valuable
