Job Description:

We are looking for a Mac Device Administrator / Desktop Support Engineer with strong experience managing and supporting macOS and Windows devices in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for device administration, MDM, security compliance, troubleshooting, deployment, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage macOS and Windows devices using MDM platforms such as Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, or Kandji.
  • Deploy, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain operating systems and applications.
  • Manage Apple Business Manager and enterprise Mac device enrollment.
  • Implement and maintain security policies including FileVault, malware protection, OS compliance, and device security.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 desktop support for Mac and Windows hardware, software, OS, and application issues.
  • Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, user accounts, printers, scanners, AV equipment, and other peripherals.
  • Perform workstation imaging, configuration, setup, and deployment for new hires and replacement devices.
  • Automate device management and administrative tasks using Bash/Zsh or other scripting.
  • Manage device inventory, licensing, asset lifecycle, and software deployments.
  • Collaborate with IT Security, Service Desk, Infrastructure, and other IT teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Mac/macOS and Windows administration or enterprise desktop support.
  • Strong knowledge of macOS architecture, administration, security, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience with MDM solutions such as Jamf Pro, Intune, or Kandji.
  • Experience with Apple Business Manager and enterprise Mac management.
  • Strong Bash/Zsh or shell scripting skills.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and identity/access management.
  • Experience with device deployment, patching, imaging, and endpoint management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and end-user support skills.
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Jamf certification or Apple Certified IT Professional certification.
  • Experience integrating macOS with Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, or other Identity Providers.
  • Knowledge of SOC 2, NIST, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001 compliance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting mixed macOS and Windows environments.
  • Experience with automated release management, Master Data Management (MDM), and firewall/security management.
