Role - Linux Systems Engineer
Location – Boise ID - Locals Only
Type – Contract

 

Job Description

At least 3-5 years managing enterprise RedHat Unix/Linux solutions, preferably large scale

·         Strong scripting skills(Shell, Python, etc.)

·         Deep knowledge and experience supporting RHEL 8 & 9

·         Proficient with LDAP configuration and management

·         Experience with virtualization (vmware)

·         Hands on experience with computer hardware maintenance

·         Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service

·         Strong drive for continuous improvement

·         In-depth knowledge of Redhat Kickstart and configuration management tools (puppet preferred)

·         Proven skills in automating systems services and tasks to streamline service and ensure consistency

·         Advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems

·         Experience supporting servers in the cloud preferred

·         Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)

·         Strong skills in decision-making, prioritization and negotiation

·         Passion and accountability for the environment you will be responsible for

·         Ability to lift 50lbs.
