Role: Senior Murex Program Manager

Location: Raleigh, NC/New York, NY/Morristown, NJ (Hybrid Role - 3 days/week)

Job Description:

Experience: 18+ years (14+ years in Murex)

Program Leadership & Governance

  • Own delivery for several Murex MX.3 programs at different clients at once: implementations, upgrades, migrations and managed services. This covers scope, budget, risk and how programs are governed.
  • Run steering committees and executive reporting with client CXOs and senior stakeholders. Manage escalations, RAID logs and commercial health (margin, change requests and staffing).
  • Lead distributed teams of 50 or more onshore and offshore staff (business analysts, configurators, developers and testers) and build bench capacity and succession plans for niche Murex roles.

Thought Leadership & Practice Building

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Murex roadmaps, upgrade strategy, legacy-to-MX.3 migration, cloud adoption, AI Strategy and regulatory changes (FRTB, IBOR, SA-CCR).
  • Build reusable accelerators, delivery frameworks and test automation, and support presales, RFP responses, solution design, and estimation.

Functional & Technical Expertise

  • Bring hands-on knowledge of Murex Front Office (trading, pricing, P&L), Back Office processing and operations (confirmations, settlements, accounting) and Collateral Management.
  • Know Murex Risk Management well (market risk, credit risk, VaR, limits) and Market Data (rate curves, feeds, end-of-day processes).
  • Understand Murex integration and reporting architecture well: MXML workflows, Datamart design and reporting, and interfaces to upstream and downstream systems.
  • Have experience moving programs into Production Support: hypercare, SLA-based support models, end-of-day batch stability and environment management.
