Senior Technical Product Owner Job Summary: The Technical Product Owner is responsible for driving product vision, managing the end - to - end backlog, and delivering scalable, secure platform capabilities. This role partners closely with engineering, architecture, UX, and DevOps teams to translate business needs into clear technical outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in Java microservices, cloud - native architectures, and front - end technologies, along with experience in large - scale platform or telecom environments. They will eliminate delivery blockers, influence without authority, and champion continuous improvement to ensure high - quality, customer - centric product delivery.
Key Responsibilities Product Ownership & Execution - Own and manage the end-to-end product backlog for one or more platform or application teams, serving as the single source of truth for priorities and scope.
- Translate business outcomes and platform strategy into clear, technically sound user stories with well - defined acceptance criteria.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX, and DevOps to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and production - ready.
- Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and acceptance to ensure delivery aligns with intended outcomes.
- Proactively identify and remove ambiguity, dependencies, and blockers that slow delivery.
Technical Leadership - Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Java - based microservices and distributed systems
- Spring Boot and RESTful API design
- Cloud - native architectures (containers, CI/CD, observability)
- Front - end technologies such as React and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Engage as a credible technical partner-capable of challenging design decisions, trade - offs, and implementation approaches.
- Ensure platform capabilities are designed for reuse, extensibility, and long - term sustainability.
Platform & Telecom Mindset - Apply prior telecom or large - scale platform experience to balance reliability, performance, and speed to market.
- Understand the downstream impact of platform decisions on consumers, operations, and customer experiences.
- Drive alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders in a complex, matrixed environment.
Leadership & Change Agent - Challenge legacy processes, outdated assumptions, and "this is how we've always done it" thinking.
- Advocate for simplification, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Influence without authority by building trust, clarity, and strong cross - functional relationships.
- Mentor team members and elevate product and agile maturity across the organization.
Required Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or Technical Product roles.
- Proven experience supporting enterprise - scale platforms or telecom systems.
- Strong technical background with Java microservices and Spring Boot.
- Experience working with React - based front ends and/or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and large - scale product delivery.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and engineering stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working in platform - first or API - first environments.
- Background in cloud - native, DevOps - oriented organizations.
- Experience influencing architecture or platform modernization initiatives.
- Certifications such as CSPO, SAFe POPM, or equivalent.

The base salary for this position is $92,250 - $130,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
