Nabors is seeking a motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented intern to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data-driven decision-making within a high-performance, fast-paced environment.

The selected candidate will collaborate closely with our analyst team to support strategic procurement initiatives, generate actionable insights from data, and contribute to continuous process improvements. This role offers meaningful exposure to supply chain operations, cross-functional teamwork, and real-world business challenges, making it an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop both technical and strategic skills.


  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, organize, and analyze procurement and supply chain data to generate actionable insights that support informed business decisions. Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, supplier markets, and cost drivers to support strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement projects.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in identifying process bottlenecks and operational inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance supply chain performance.
  • Ad-hoc Analytical Support: Provide analytical support to the Procurement & Supply Chain team on special projects and emerging business needs, delivering timely data insights to inform decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor?s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to develop clear, compelling presentations and reports.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Solid analytical skills, including foundational knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI.
  • Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain principles and practices.
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn, with a strong commitment to personal and professional development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated interest in supply chain trends, with awareness of current developments in global supply chain management, sustainability initiatives, and evolving procurement practices.
  • Curiosity about market dynamics, digital transformation in supply chains, and emerging best practices in strategic sourcing.
