Applications Developer

We're seeking an experienced Application Engineer / Integration Developer to help modernize enterprise systems and build mission-critical integrations that support essential business operations. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge integration technologies, cloud-ready architectures, messaging platforms, and enterprise applications while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise application integrations and interfaces.
• Participate in large-scale integration modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy middleware platforms to modern integration solutions.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop APIs, integrations, automation workflows, and supporting applications.
• Build and maintain scripts, interfaces, and data exchange solutions between enterprise systems.
• Support application deployments, upgrades, testing, and production releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and integration issues.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify technology improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Create technical documentation, implementation plans, and support procedures.
• Work closely with infrastructure, networking, cloud, and operations teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Provide production support and participate in critical issue resolution as needed.

Required Qualifications

Integration & Middleware Experience

• 2+ years of experience developing and maintaining integrations using technologies such as:
  • Tibco BusinessWorks
  • MuleSoft
  • IBM ACE
  • webMethods
  • Koodisi
  • Amplify Fusion
  • Similar integration platforms

Messaging & Event Streaming

• 2+ years of experience working with messaging technologies including:
  • Apache Kafka
  • IBM MQ
  • ActiveMQ
  • Solace PubSub+
  • Universal Messaging
  • Similar event-driven platforms

Software Development

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong development experience with:
  • C#
  • .NET
  • Java
  • Object-oriented programming languages

Database & Reporting

• Experience with:
  • SQL
  • PL/SQL
  • Oracle
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Relational database design and support
• Exposure to reporting and analytics solutions such as:
  • Power BI
  • Tableau
  • Cognos
  • Crystal Reports
  • Business Objects

Additional Skills

• Experience supporting enterprise business applications in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with application upgrades, system implementations, and software releases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anaheim, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
