Location: Remote (Must be available during EST business hours)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Start Date: July 7, 2026
Interview Process: Video Interview (Manager Round + Team Round)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in data analysis, data quality engineering, reporting, and large-scale data processing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with complex SQL queries, Python development, cloud-based data platforms, and BI reporting tools.
This role involves building data quality frameworks, monitoring data pipelines, analyzing large datasets, investigating data issues, and supporting critical reporting and analytics initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Quality, Analytics Engineering, or related fields
- Expert-level SQL skills with experience writing complex queries for large datasets
- Strong Python programming experience
- Experience with AWS services including:
- S3
- Lambda
- SNS/SQS
- CloudFormation
- DynamoDB
- Step Functions
- Glue
- Athena
- Strong experience with Amazon Redshift
- Experience with BI and reporting tools:
- Tableau
- QuickSight
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and Generative AI technologies
- Strong understanding of data modeling, lineage, transformations, monitoring, and data quality frameworks
- Experience troubleshooting production data issues and performing root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Design and implement automated data quality checks and validation frameworks
- Build monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for data pipelines
- Investigate and resolve data anomalies and production issues
- Develop reconciliation processes across source systems and reporting platforms
- Create reusable tools and frameworks for data validation and testing
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity
- Support governance, documentation, and operational excellence initiatives
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team planning activities
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms
- Exposure to AI tools such as Amazon Q, Tableau AI, Google Cloud AI, or similar technologies
- Experience building automation solutions for data engineering workflows
