About the OpportunityWe're hiring experienced
Lead Fiber Technicians to support a large-scale data center build-out in Burlington, TX. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys leading teams, and has strong hands-on experience with fiber optic installation and cable management.
You'll play a key role in building and maintaining critical fiber infrastructure that supports high-performance data environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesFiber Installation & Maintenance- Install, test, and repair fiber optic cables and splice enclosures
- Troubleshoot signal issues and ensure optimal network performance
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of fiber routes
Project Coordination & Team Leadership- Lead field teams and oversee daily work execution
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors on installations
- Support project timelines and ensure quality standards are met
OSP Network Expansion- Assist with installing new fiber lines, conduits, and aerial systems
- Support infrastructure expansion for new data center builds
Documentation & Site Work- Conduct site surveys and assess installation feasibility
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, network updates, and testing results
Safety & Compliance- Follow strict safety protocols (heights, confined spaces, electrical)
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
Required Qualifications- Experience with fiber optic installation and cable management
- Proven team leadership or foreman experience in a technical field environment
- Strong understanding of fiber infrastructure and OSP work
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
Nice to Have- Data center experience
- Experience coordinating large-scale fiber deployment projects

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
