Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant with strong expertise in Workday Recruiting and Business Process configuration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in a Workday implementation project, focusing on designing recruiting workflows, building business processes, and integrating external data sources into Workday.

This role requires a hands-on functional/technical consultant who can work independently, gather requirements from stakeholders, and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and manage Workday Recruiting across the full recruiting lifecycle (application, selection, offer, hire).

  • Design and build Workday Business Processes (BPs), including custom workflows for recruiting, hire, and add job.

  • Develop condition rules and validation rules from scratch to support business requirements.

  • Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Workday technical solutions.

  • Support Workday implementation activities, including configuration, testing, and deployment.

  • Integrate external data sources into Workday, particularly student-related systems.

  • Provide backup support for rule and validation development when required.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Workday Recruiting module and end-to-end recruiting lifecycle.

  • Hands-on experience building Workday Business Processes (BPs).

  • Deep expertise in Workday condition rules and validation rules.

  • Proven experience working on Workday implementation projects (not only support or enhancements).

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong stakeholder communication and requirement gathering skills.

  • Experience integrating external data sources with Workday.

Highly Preferred Skills

  • Strong experience with Workday PRISM Analytics.

  • Experience using PRISM to integrate external student data into Workday (e.g., Banner or other Student Information Systems).

  • Experience with Workday Recruiting in a Higher Education environment.

  • Ability to act as a backup resource for rule and validation work when the lead consultant is unavailable.
